Is this a baby chicken or a baby turkey?

A neighbor found this "chick" the cats were trying to get it. She brought this to me lastnight. Do i have a chicken or do i have a turkey?

Anyone that can help me out i would appreciate it. Also an estimate on age amd breed?

Thank you, any idea of age and breed? I was thinking of a buff orpington, but honestly my buff orp looks quite a bit diff, not so ruddy. Could be this chick has been outside a while and just dirty?

Agreed. I would post its pic again in about 4-5 weeks on our What Breed or Gender is This? section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this. By then the breed should be pretty obvious.

It's a chicken, probably a mixed breed. As for age, I'd guess 6 weeks. It looks like a female.

Hi Everyone. I'm checking back in. Ive had this chick now for 4 weeks and im hopeful someone will have a clue as to what breed and possible age of this chicken. Here is my guess, a buff colored ameraucana pullet possibly 9 weeks of age? We rescued her so the first photos she was fairly young. Thank you in advance!

It looks like it might be an Easter Egger mix or a Faverolle mix. She's adorable.
