    Yes a pullet. Darker barring indicates female as they only get one copy of the barring gene whereas males get two copies so there is more white than black[​IMG]

    Yes it is, I have four, and four Rhode Island Reds. My little Hazel (lol, the only one I've named) is a Barred Rock, she loves me! She follows me and talks to me, so cute! That's why I named her.[​IMG]
