New chicken owner here. I was told these were barred rock but now I’m worried it is a male black sex-linked. I chose the darker ones with longer tail feathers and a smaller defined spot. I got them this old so I don’t know what they looked like as babies. I got them from Atwood’s. Any thoughts? I’m new at this and so bad at figuring breeds of chicks.

It’s not a make BSL - it would be much lighter, with the white barring showing through over the black. They look like barred rock pullets.
A.male BSL would not be lighter. They only have one barring gene so they would look more like a BR pullet then a BR cockerel.
What color are their legs? Almost look white with black wash on my phone. If so they'd be cuckoo Marans pullets.
If yellow with black wash I'd say BR pullets.

They are yellow with dark wash on the front, at first it wasn’t that dark but I feel they are gettting darker as they age. So I guess barred rock then. Thanks!
