I am new to chickens, just want a couple of hens. I went to a chicken swap got these two.... I forgot what the man said they were, I think one is RIR? not sure about the black one.... any help is appreciated. I guess time will tell if I have hens

I believe that yours is a black copper maran. There are many similar looking breeds such as Australorp. Yours appears to be a black copper maran. If you have any more questions you can go to my page and message me or just post it out here. Hope this helps
