Is this a black copper marans?

i just got this hen 2 days ago, she is 6-7 mos old. Owner didn't want her because she didn't match the rest of her flock. I've been trying to figure her breed out and the closest I could come up with was a black copper marins. If she is, she must be mixed with something else. She lays very light colored brown eggs. Thoughts?

Wonderful! You're awesome. That makes complete sense. The previous owner has a flock of barred rocks and their neighbor has a mix of breeds, but I did notice a Rhode Island Red roo!
