Is this a black laced red roo?

    We got this one thinking it was a blue laced red pullet bit we think its a black laced red rooster?? Thoughts please

    At 3 weeks? Yeah I'd have to guess that's a cockerel, though it's too young to be sure.

    I got about 50 that size right now, the roosters get pink combs and a touch of color in the wattles about that age. When they get a little older it gets harder to tell until they get up to 5 or six weeks.
