    I got some BLRW chicks a few weeks ago and this one doesn't look like the others at all... no lacing... strange feather color & pattern.

    It's about a month old now - is it just a very poor example of the breed?

    That's what I thought - NOT a BLRW!!

    Do you think it's a hen though? If yes I will keep her anyways... if not, "he" will go back to the person I got it from in exchange for a real BLRW!!

    Is kinda ugly aint she? lol. Not a blrw, but perhaps a blrw cross. Looks like she has some blue on her tail, and some red, and a rosecomb. But the barring on her side is definitely not blrw.

    90% sure it's a hen, but I would still exchange her for a blrw hen if you can.
