Is this a blue laced red EE?

    Poultry colors are extremely delicate. Since you're not sure what was used to make him look that way, it will be difficult to say what he will produce. If you really like his coloring then you can try to cross him with various hens and keep back the offspring that look right.

    Being "just" an EE is no reason why you can't take that color and do something with it with enough time and focus. I'm sure most of the colors out there right now for many of the breeds started off as a "Wow, where did that come from? I like it!" sort of deal. Then came the long process of trying to make it reproduce consistantly [​IMG]
