I have a youngster silkie that's growing out that is a nice even shade of blue with copper/tanish colored hackles. Does this resemble a blue partridge at all? If not I'm going to sell it at auction tonight.

Blue partridge is partridge with blue replacing black. Penciling may improve with age, although some will be present from early on.

Here is a pullet of mine when she was younger.

And another pullet:

And a henny feathered cock:

Here are some partridge cocks, one is blue partridge, although it is a very dark blue.

Thanks for the pictures Sonoran. I think its just gold leakage on the hackles. I'll see how it feathers out, then I'll decide if I want to keep it not as a pet.

I'll get pictures tomorrow

Here's a picture, and I know it has a single comb, so it won't be showable just wondering what the "color" could be called.

Its starting to get more buff/partridge in its crest and hackle feathers.

That's what my blue partridge looked like at that age. He was kind of an accident tho - he came from a mixed flock, and I had no idea what he was. Because his throat and chest came in reddish at first (against the blue), I named him "Robin".
