Is this a bullseye? (fertile egg?)

    Yes I have a rooster, hens just started laying, theres a white spot on top of yolk, idk if this is normal yolk anatomy, or a bullseye, thanks!

    My husband keeps telling me not to feed him the fertile ones. What is with that? Are city people really that squeamish about eating fertile eggs? I figure what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Practically all the eggs he's eaten from our two banty hens have been fertile.[​IMG]

    All yolks have the white spot- the blastocyst. I don't see the bullseye though, doesn't look fertile to me.

    I don't see a bullseye either, but could just be glare on picture?

    yep ok, good to know thank you, didnt look bullseye-ish, just a white spot. Thanks!
