I have a silky chicken that sat on a clutch of mixed eggs. By mixed I mean I have RR hen, red comet hen, a gray hen, and a white silky hen all lain in the same nest and the silky sat and hatched them. This is one of the ones that hatched. Oh and my roosters are game roosters that someone gave me.

Goodness. Chicken guinea cross?
No, it’s a mixed breed female chicken. Silkie cross.
Thank you and I am new to the chicken world. I have had ducks a long time but just started with chickens. Someone had told me that a guinea and chicken can cross breed. That is why I asked that because I had guineas at the time the eggs were laid.

It’s very rare, and the cross wouldn’t look like a chicken. What you have is definitely a chicken.

Agree yours is a silkie cross. :) Found this photo of a guinea/chicken cross on line as I was curious. Apparently chicken father, Guinea mother is most likely to work. Cool looking bird.
