Is this a hen or a tom?

    Please can anyone tell what it is? We have gobbled at it, we have watched it walk. Sometimes maybe a strut... maybe not.... i am not turkey savvy when it comes to gender... how the heck do you sex a turkey? anyway if you could tell me what it is and why it is that... i would be so happy!     it looks to me like a white hen how old is it tombs are big and usally lose most of there head feathers and is replaced with red and blue rincle skin

    Check for spurs. My 8 week old tom last year had very nice spurs. Hens can get them, but more than likely it would be a tom if it had spurs.
