Is this a lash egg?

Hi chicken friends!

I went out to the coop this morning and found what I thought was a lash egg. After looking at pictures, I’m not so sure. All the pictures I’ve seen show lash eggs as having dense material inside. I broke it open and it was filled only with what appeared to be egg white. The outside felt kinda soft like a shelless egg. Does anyone know?

That's a soft shelled egg.

New layers sometimes lay these when they first start laying. Or sometimes my older hens will lay these when they have a 2 egg day. One is normal and the other is usually soft.

A lash egg would have thick cheese like material in it.
