Well that pic is of my flemish "buck". I just assumed they were a male and a female like the breeder said. I just learned last week how to sex them and today thought hmmm... maybe I should check Stella and Vern myself....Looks like I have two flemish does.....Now I need a buck...I suppose its better than finding out I had two bucks....

Quote:Yeah way better than 2 boys, did you check both of them to be sure one isnt a buck?
if it was a buck something would have popped up ( seriously lol )

ok going back and looking again ,
flip the white one back over or have someone hold it, gently push down on the sides of the area and see if it stays a split or make a circle, I an seeing something that makes me think if you push down a little you will know imediately if its a buck or not

They both look exactly like this. I pushed pretty firmly and in different ways and the genitals remained a slit from top to bottom. I will look again in the light tomorrow. Did you check my other post again about the lionhead? I have a link there I would like you to check out and advise.

I will go check the lion head thread,
well if nothing popped up then my dear you got lucky and have 2 does.
now it should be easy to get a nice buck. unfortunately or fortunately in this case bucks are easier to come by.

We call it getting visited by the sex change fairy.
At 8 weeks I seperate my kits by sex, at 12 weeks I go back and recheck. I have yet to be 100 percent on the first time.
I would talk to the breeder you got them from, a good breeder would make thinks right.
