Is this a male or female?

The breed is Poch koekoek. Having trouble to guess this ones gender. The others are easy, but this one seems to be in between for me

I don't know if this will help. But it seems that Roos have thicker legs then hens before you can tell what they are. That's how I tell and MOST of the time it seems to work. Good luck.

That is exactly why I can’t tell... because it is not as big an prominent as the other cockerels his age and breed, but it is definitely more red than my pullets ...

Can you post pictures of the pullets? Cockerels in birds with the barring gene will have wider gray bars than black bars giving them a lighter overall appearance than the pullets.
I think he's a cockerel.

Can you post pictures of the pullets? Cockerels in birds with the barring gene will have wider gray bars than black bars giving them a lighter overall appearance than the pullets.
I think he's a cockerel.

This is a pullet and cockerel I am sure of. Last pic is a fully grown pullet... is why I was not sure if the light color could possibly be a pullet, as she was lighter...
