View attachment 1165488 This is an external pip 16 hours after an internal pip from my Welsummer
(Had the incubator open as it started smelling, chick died in the white egg.)
Hello everyone!! I recently incubated 6 eggs and 4 made he cut of going into lockdown. On Day 18, one egg hatched (Squishy and or Disney) and now I think another one may be starting. It looks like it pipped but I can not tell. What do you think?
The cracks towards the top of the egg looks like the beginning of a pip to me. Often times I only see a crack at first.
Looks like to me. Sometimes, they can be very hard to spot. Not every chick makes a really pronounced pip. You are approximately 12 to 24 hours from the actual hatching.Awesome!! So this is a pip?!
