    Without knowing how old it is and what breed it is, it's harder to give an opinion... But I'm going to say hen, because of the tail feathering. Hens usually have more of a tail than roos when they first get their feathers in. And I don't see any sign of comb development either. Is it about 4 weeks old?

    it is about 4 weeks and is a buff orpington thanks. andsorry about all the posts i do not know why that happened
