Is this a Rooster? And any idea on breed?

    Here is the suspected Roo...[​IMG]

    Here are the other ladies (there could possibly be 2 kinds as we got from 2 sources). Some are sexed (roosters white, hens brown) others we got from someone else at a year and the suspected rooster is one of them, and brown.

    that's a rooster.

    Your sexed birds--white roosters and brown hens--are called red sex links. They're a one time cross, very simply a red rooster over a silver hen gives those colors linked to those genders. But, it's a one-time thing. If you breed those brown hens to those white roosters, you get birds of both genders that are varying shades of red and white. That's what this rooster appears to be, a second generation sex link--basically a mixed breed rooster with some good layer blood in him.
