Is this a rooster?

    We got these chickens right after Easter. I have noticed differences in behavior and their combs lately and I'm wondering if one of them is a rooster.

    Glad you could join the flock! What lovely birds you have there :D The left one could be a cockerel but the tail makes me think maybe not.     Thanks! I'm not allow to have a rooster in my city. Any ideas on what to do work him?

    Out to pasture
    first post his photos at "what breed or gender is this." If they also agree re: his gender, then I would think about what you can do with him.

    Those are pullets. The one on the left is just a bit more mature. At that age, male saddle feathers would be very obvious. Those back feathers are 100% female.
