I got twelve chicks that are supposedly all pullets but yesterday i saw that this red sex link is looking different. It also weighs a lot more then the others. Is it a rooster?[IMG]

This is what they looked like when i first got them[IMG]

They look more like Rhode Island Reds so i thought they were probably a mix of that and something else. What are they?

Definitely a cockerel. Not sure on breed right now, but not RSL. Could be a RIR. How old are they? It appears that there might be some other cockerels as well.

Looks like a RIR cockerel. Also, the barred bird in your photo looks to be a cockerel as well.

Yep you have at least two cockerels, and yes it looks like a Rhode island red.

I got them on August 4th, I'm not sure how old they were, but as you can see from the picture they were already getting wing feathers. I think 3-4 days for the Australorp,Barred Rocks and the red ones and about a week for the two Amberlinks and the two ISA browns. So around 5 weeks.

Yes, it's a boy. Pullets have darker barring as you can see in comparison to your other two. Also, at this age any chick with a prominent red comb is going to be a cockerel.
