Is this a rooster?

    Looks like a rooster to me, with that comb and wattles at such an early age.

    Dang it...that is what I was worried about! haha. I didn't do any research about raising a rooster...just hens! I thought the wattle might be a bit large for a hen and it definitely stands more upright than its counterpart in the background. Thanks for your opinions!

    Yup, that's a cockerel.

    Raising a rooster is essentially the same as raising hens. But for the girls' sakes there's usually a recommended 1:10 ratio of roos to hens.
