Is this a turkey egg?

    We found it on the ground in the coop and it's completely different than any of our chicken eggs. Our chicken eggs all look like the one on the right. It is spotted all over with an underlaying whitish tan color. And it's heavier than our chicken eggs. Pretty sure this is the first egg she would have laid. Oh, she's a White Holland if that makes a difference. Our chickens are barred rocks that are laying.

    Yes...It looks to be a turkey egg. In general they have a whitish under tone with pinkish/reddish spots/splotches.

    Yep! I can't wait till I get one...but found out both my whites are boys, one was just a sooooooper late bloomer [​IMG]
