So my dog and I were out with he chickens the other day and they started in on this call back and forth, what is it?

Mine do that when they see something that scares or startles them. Or when they ****THINK*** they've seen something lol. I let my girls out quite early in the morning (they have a little light over their run area) and sometimes I have to run out to hush them up so they don't wake the neighbors. I usually take a look around the yard but don't often find what they saw. I have spied a cat or squirrel when they've been making that noise.

Even upcoming wind can cause that, just for interest sake
