    It looks like either a Welsummer or a Light Brown Leghorn chick.

    doesnt have yellow feet. they are more like pinkish

    what are the charactetistics of a leghorn i really hope its not a leghorn.

    Speckled Sussex. I had a Welsummer and SS at the same time, your's looks like a SS. SS have pink feet while Wellies have yellow.

    my husband is going to be a little sad over this. He was hoping for a pullet too.my ss is a little short and squatty is that normal?

    no i mean is that like a characteristic of ss.I think its a pullet actually even though im new to this .It got the tail feathers really fast and looks kinda dainty
