Is this a worm or egg?!?! Help!

This morning when I opened their coop underneath the girl who has the membrane on her butt last night was what looked like the remainder of egg. There was a soft stringy shell and white and yolk (pic). Her poo this morning as well was runny and yellowish/whitish (pic) She seems fine otherwise.. free ranging, red face/comb. I also have her Safeguard last night thinking it were a worm. Now it seems to be certain an egg issue… should I give her any calcium? Antibiotics? I hate to give her meds if not needed? I’ve also been down this road before with an egg issue and it was a year of antibiotics and worry.. she finally succumbed to it. Not sure what I should do next. It really seems as if all egg matter was on floor of coop. Splattered because I assume she got rid of while roosting. Any help is appreciated! *she is missing beard feathers because her friends were overzelously grooming her. I was giving them fermented food and they would groom her face afterwards. 😂 or maybe a face molt? If that’s a thing?
Oh boy...this bird just might already have a reproduction type infection. Is a vet visit an option to get antibiotics?

Yes, once a day for ten days. If you've seen broken yolk, then start the antibiotic because you can assume that bacteria has begun to grow in her oviduct.
Found a soft shell on ground of coop this morning.. assuming it’s hers. I’m not sure why she is laying soft shells depite calcium choice. How many calcium pills can I give her? I did on yesterday.. doing another today… is that recommended? Could some thing else be the issue? I think the soft shell laying has been going on for a few weeks now. I thought girls were pecking an egg but now I think she has been laying them. Thoughts? I started amox yesterday.

Give the calcium tablet every day until you see this little lady laying normal eggs again. The risk of calcium to her kidneys is the long term risk, but it is minor compared to what could happen to her if an egg gets stuck and breaks inside of her.

Usually, you won't need to give this calcium supplement for more than a few days, but the longest I've had to give it is around seven weeks when a hen was ovulating two eggs a day, and most were soft or thin. It paid off. That was two years ago and this hen has been laying normal eggs ever since.

Thank you! I’ll continue giving it to her! Hoping for a nice hard egg soon!

Treat her for the worms too.
