    Hi,
This past March, I bought a dozen chicks, including 3 Easter eggers from the Watertown Agway, near Boston. Now that all the ladies are laying, I'm getting 4 blue eggs per day. The odd chicken looks nothing like the 3 brownish Easter eggers, see attached photo. I know she is laying blue eggs because she is separate from the flock so she can heal after being picked on. Is she an Easter egger or something else?
Thanks for reading my first post!

    :welcome!

She's an easter egger. Since easter eggers aren't a real breed, they can look like anything.

    Pretty Easter egger hen.

Silver is more unusual in females, the regular gold/brown based is more common. I think the silver is pretty, and I like unusual [IMG]

if it weren't for her bare rear end, she would be very pretty. Ha.
