    Are the feathers growing in the direction of the body or starting to stick out to the side?

    Angel wing is when they grow outwards. Those are new wing feathers growing in so that's normal. It's just hard to tell in the pic if they are growing in the right direction or not!

    no, those are the heavy blood quills coming in. As LC said angel wing is when the wing turns outward. [​IMG]
