I got a white silkie who was sitting on a clutch. I brought home mamma and clutch. Only one hatched and this is what I got. I have no idea what roo was pappa or if the clutch was this silkie's. does this baby look like it could be a silkie? These pics were taken when chick was only 4 days old. Baby is now 2 weeks. I will try and get pics of it at this age soon.
    Thanks

If you had a little bit of a better picture it would be easier to tell.

Better picture, wait tell it matures a little if it mature if it matures with silkie feathers it is a silkie and if it
doesn't it looks like it could be a Langshan.

not a silkie, wrong color skin, no vaulted skull, no crest, not silkied, wrong comb, doesnt look like it has 5 toes. Could be a cochin or cross. Most of the silkies traits (except the silkie gene) are dominate, meaning if the chick isnt showing it, it doesnt have it.
