In amongst 12 hatching eggs I bought there was 1 white wyandotte egg. I thought I had candled it and found it to be infertile so I tossed that egg out, however out of all the eggs that hatched, this was the only chick to hatch without feathers down its legs and feet (the others are supposedly d'uucle's).
I've never hatched chicks before let alone seen what a wyandotte chick looks like.
Can anyone give me an idea on this?
