    Hi Everyone-
Six weeks ago I received my first 25 chicks after months of studying BYC. I've been reading daily ever since and have learned so much valuable information.
I am fairly certain I have one roo amongst my 9 EEs. The other 8 are very similar to each other. This one is different- taller, struts around, tail feathers stick up and are pointy, beginning of comb is reddish, big feet and thick legs, etc...
    What do you experts think?

I'll post questions about my other breeds soon.
    Thanks!

Looks like a roo from the tail feathers and the saddle feathers coming in. He is very handsome.

I am thinking maybe roo..it is hard at 6 weeks with EE's to guess which gender. With EE's, it is easier at that age if you compare with another. Could you post a picture of one of the others to compare?

Quote:Sure- Thanks for your time and help. Here are 3 other EEs- all 6 weeks old. They are all about the same size but have much shorter tail feathers than my suspected roo and no redness in the comb area...
