IS THIS EGG FERTILE? am i crazy?

oKAY LOOK,



I have a hen that just started laying.... When i put my hand on her back she squats Very low... If she squats does that mean a rooster is getting to her?

do you have a rooster?? and the squat others here say its from laying...but i have a rooster and they do mate..and the hens dont put up fuss they just squat and its over in a second....no feathers flying or beating up ect....jeff

Hens and pullets will squat when they are ready to begin laying eggs. You do not need a rooster for eggs.
