Is this egg ok to eat?

Just cracked some eggs to make dinner and one came out bloody. Big blood spot on the yoke and the white is blood tinged. Is my chicken ok?

You can eat it. Just take the blood spot out.

I think you can eat it, and don't worry to much about your hen, it happens to my chickens sometimes

Safe to eat, hard to remove all the blood.....and you won't notice if scrambling or mixing into something else.

It is called a blood spot, happens when a blood vessel breaks as the ova is released from the follicle. Not an issue unless it's happens constantly with large ones like you have there.
I have had birds that had small blood spots in every egg.
