Am I crazy for trying to fix this or not. Its leg is turned. I don't know if its splayed or deformed or what?

Looks like splayed legs and curled toes but I am not quite sure. It's worth a try to make a splint for the legs and wrap the toes.

seems worth a try. I had good luck recently using a bandaid hobble on a chick that had both legs dragging behind it. Kept the bandaid on until it fell off on it's own. good luck [IMG]

This chick had to be culled. It only had one eye it could open and wasn't able to stand with its side being twisted too. So I lost my Silkie. :(

Oh BBAcres I am so sorry to hear you had to cull this little one but sounds like you did the right, humane thing.
