is this full muscovy or a cross?

    heres my little duckling i just got. i know that her mother is a muscovy but not sure who the father was. it was either a blue swedish or a muscovy. all the other ducklings looked like white muscovies but this one looks sort of like a swedish.

    Looks like a mix to me - the tail looks short to me.

    so she probably cant make fertile eggs right because she is a mule?

    Mules can make eggs, but they will not be fertile.

    Yes, it looks like a cross, but you will definitely know as she gets older. Very, very cute though!

    Not all mules are able to lay eggs. I'm fairly sure that muscovy drakes X mallard derived females produce mules that can not produce eggs. Mallard derived drakes X muscovy hens produce mules that MAY be able to produce eggs. Anyone more positive about this than I am?

    Mules do lay-their eggs are just not fertile is all.
