Is this heat lamp bulb okay?

I'm getting ready for this years chicks and ducks, and when I plugged in the heat lamp to test it, I noticed that the light isn't exactly red. I know that a bright white light can stress chicks out. The light is definitely tinted, but not as red as it usually is. I don't know if it would show in a picture. Will I be able to tell if the color is okay by how the chicks act or should I play it safe and get another, redder bulb?

I noticed one of my used bulbs has faded also, so I would get a new bulb to start with new chicks, especially since you would not want it to burn out while your chicks are being brooded and risk them chilling overnight or while you are away.

Okay, I'll pick one up when I go get my ducklings from TSC. Thanks!
