Is this just ugly legs or scaly leg mites?

Got these little frizzles from a girl at a swap last weekend. Their legs both look like this. Is it just their coloring or do they have mites?

Just the color. If you just got them, check them REAL close.

Looks like the may be a little dry but it could be the start of mite also... Good maintenance will keep the legs looking good... Unfortunately I slacked off this winter and two of my girls have leg mites. My own fault... Good idea to keep vaseline rubbed into the legs at the least once a week.

They look like just color to me too. Be sure you do a 30 quarantine though, in case of any other pests or diseases.

Ugly legs, When a bird has scaly leg mites the scale are raised up.

It looks like the scales are starting to raise up. Treat with vaseline, vet rx, or/and ivermectin to be sure before it is too late.
