I agree, all the boys have been stunning! But I don't need boys. Next time Maggie gets broody I'm going to give her 6 eggs to set! I'm sure out of six I will get a couple of hens at least! It's so disappointing to get so many roosters!Aww, he's a cutie!!

Awww, that is a shame. So far I've been half and half with Maggie's chicks. I bought 5 fertile eggs for my incubator, 4 hatched and 2 were boys. Seems like it's a 50% thing for me. Still unacceptable!I've always ended up with way more cockerels than pullets when I've let broodys hatch eggs. Always.
That would be nice, but I sure don't expect it at this point!Well, if he's 10 weeks old the saddle feathers should start to show up in just a couple more weeks.
Maybe he'll turn out to be just a big brawny girl.
