Is this little chick a boy or girl???

Here's the photos of the BOY today.

This last one is for size. He will be 8 weeks on Monday 12/30/19.

I've always ended up with way more cockerels than pullets when I've let broodys hatch eggs. Always. :idunno
Awww, that is a shame. So far I've been half and half with Maggie's chicks. I bought 5 fertile eggs for my incubator, 4 hatched and 2 were boys. Seems like it's a 50% thing for me. Still unacceptable!

Here's the boy at 10 weeks. You know I thought I heard him crowing a couple of times. I was wrong. That turned out to be one of my goofy Delaware hens who wanted out of the run in the morning. So I haven't heard him do anything yet. I'm still sure he is a boy and as soon as he crows he goes!

Here's my boy on his roost yesterday. His feathers still are not completely in. I can see now that he is the son of Bill or Greybeard, my Americana roosters that I sold. He's showing nice muffs and a beard now! He still isn't crowing, just the baby cheep cheep thing. I'll keep him until I can't, which means if he goes after Harvey, he goes!
