is this natural?

Ok my hens have been molting a while (well some of them) and what i was wondering is is it natural for the molting ones combs to pailen because the laying ones and the one who have finished molting have red combs but the molting ones are pail is this normal?

Molting, especially the total molts where almost all feathers are dropped at once is very stressful. It is not at all unusual for chickens to look 'poorly' while they are molting. There is nothing unnatural going on.
