Is it normal for a chicken to sleep while standing up? I've noticed 3 of mine doing that today. I'm worried because I bought a chick in the Spring that was sleeping while standing up with it's head on the ground. Mine have their heads up when they do it but I'm a little worried.I ended up giving that chick to my neighbor and I'm pretty sure it died because I haven't seen it at all.
