Hello there and welcome to BYC!
Sorry about your hen. Looks like Fowl Pox. Here is a nice article from our learning center on this disease and how to treat it...https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/avian-pox-how-to-treat-your-chickens-for-avian-pox
You can also post these pics in our emergency section for more help as well...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures
Good luck with your hen. I hope you can get her all healed up soon.
Hello and Welcome To BYC! TwoCrows X2, hope your hen recovers.

X3 on the links provided by Two Crows.
Sorry about your bird!
Yes, it does, and Two Crows has given you links to bring that about.
Maybe I'm reading this information incorrectly. I can vaccinate if they're not sick and younger than 10 weeks but after that point it must run it's course?
Yes, once they have it, it is too late to vaccinate. You might want to do some asking around in our emergency section. I have never vaccinated against fowl pox, so I am just not sure.
Glad you joined us!
I agree with the other posters--it looks like your hen has Fowl Pox. Fortunately, the disease isn't usually fatal, and your bird should recover in 2-6 weeks on her own.
Good luck with her!
