I have 9 chickens and could have sworn that one of the poo I saw yesterday had some blood in it. I've been keeping a close eye and haven't seen any blood since. This morning, I saw a poo that looks almost half normal, half "carmel" like I've been reading about. Do my chickens have cocci?

had they been eating different things that could have changed the poo for a bit?

It is possible. I give them treats (yogurt, fruit, etc - including strawberries - maybe the "red" in the poop?) and they roam around my yard. They all act fine. Am I being paranoid?

I will never eat caramel again!
I think it is because you are giving them treats. That makes it like that. [IMG]
