is this pretty common

    i have a hen and a roo sebright, they seem pretty aggressive, not with me but with any other chicken you put near them, i got a few younger RIRs in a coop next to there coop, with just chicken wire seperating them, seems like they are unhappy with the new arrivals, has been a few days now and seems like the sebright hen makes weird noises and the roo walks back and forth in front of them, do ya think they would sooner or later get along or should I leave it like it is, had the RIRs away in a different coop for about 30 days to be sure they were good to go,,,[​IMG]

    Yes this is fairly common behavior watching them sort out the pecking order, it should settle down after awhile.
