This is a picture of inside my 3 1/2' by 4 1/2' coop. The ramp leads to the roost on the left, which is 42" above the floor (after I do the DLM). It also has a landing about 12" up on the right. Our chicks are almost 5 weeks old and still in the brooder so can't test it out on them. Do you think this ramp will work? Is ramp even needed? Could they fly up and down that high in that tight of space without it? I could lower the roost a foot but I hear that they like to be higher up.
