when i purchased it, i was told it was a pearlstar leghorn. Unfortunately the the chicken is no longer with us so i dont have better photos but when i went to replace it with 2 other pearlstars, they looked nothing like the one pictured

Im wondering if they mislabeled the said chicken in photo. it looks like a blue laced wyandotte but idk
...what do you guys think?

Is it possible it was the pearlstar leghorn but it just happened to look really different?

Doesn't look like a pearl star leghorn, although I am not familiar with that variety. Doesn't look like a blue or splash laced red Wyandotte however, I'd assume a mix breed or maybe a sort of EE/OE, I don't think it was leghorn to begin with, sorry :'(

I think Pearl Star Leghorns (so named because they produce light-colored eggs) are supposed to be a mix of Partridge Rock, Speckled Sussex, and something else with white earlobes, so it’s possible they could look a few different ways? The only mature Pearl Star Leghorn I ever have seen was a rooster.

Looks like an Easter Egger to me.

As for "pearl star Leghorns", the description of them on Townline's website seems to be lacking:

One of our most popular breeds for large cream-white eggs and variegated feathering. Townline’s Pearl Star Leghorns are imported from the Czech Republic and are a cross between Partridge Rocks and Sussex.

The Czeck poultry industry seems to have left out some info. Two red earlobed, brown layer breeds don't suddenly create a white earlobed white layer.
