Is this sufficient for a run??

We're putting hardware cloth all the way around it and over the top. We don't have much in the way of predators. We normally let them free range but lately they've ventured out into the front yard and the HOA doesn't like it.... so, we have to stick them in a run.

Do you think this is enough space for 8 chickens??

Definetly predator whise ... Just don't leave them in it after dark thats when most predators strike space wide i don't know

With daytime use and a cover that would work. I'd just worry about predators digging under after dark.

There have been times when we got home late, after dark, and nothing has dug anywhere. The biggest problem here when it rains mostly is opossums and rats. That seems to be it. We have hawks, but the girls never go out in the open yard. We're most likely going to set it up under the deck. We're probably going to get the 6' high ones since it is only maybe an inch or two from the floor of the deck. It's only use is for a run during the day.
