Is this true?

    If hens are raised by a broody hen they a more likely to be broody when adults. I thought I read that somewhere but I may be out of it.

    Don't know if the mother being broody ADDS anything, but the genetic disposition toward broodiness continues.
    If the hen had the disposition, then it seems likely the offspring have a good shot at inheriting that disposition as well.
