Is this welsummer a cockerel?

I am "raising" 4 welsummer and 4 cream legbar "females" for a friend, along with my various chicks. Ordered from Meyer hatchery. They are 3 weeks old today and I wouldn't be suspicious if I didn't have 3 others to compare it to. This welsummer has very different colored feathers from the other 3, a much larger comb, and is much slower in feathering than the others. Could this be a cockerel? Unfortunately she already has 2 roosters, and I ordered a lavender Orpington roo for my 10 girls, so I'm a little worried for him!

I believe he's a cockerel. Another couple of weeks will tell for sure.

Yep, he is a cockerel! Make Welsummers feather in with a black chest, and I can see some black chest feathers on him. They will also have a different appearance. HE is very handsome!

Yes, no doubts now. I took this today, they are 6 weeks. He's a very good looking boy and I can't wait to get some eggs to hatch from them next year!
