I have one Isa Rooster (out of about 12) that comes to my hand when I put it in the brooder. I am assuming it is the same rooster everytime but honestly can't be sure. I think he figured out if he comes to my hand I take him outside and let him romp in the grass and sand. I wasn't planning on keeping too many roosters as I ordered a straight run of 100 chicks, 4 different breeds (gave 16 away). My idea was to keep at least one of each breed and I would decide which ones were the lucky ones by their personality and friendliness. Now with this roo being so friendly, how friendly are Isa roosters normally? I am thinking about marking him somehow to see if it is the same rooster everytime. I call him My rooster or baby roo. Very original huh? lol I just want to make sure if it is the same rooster he stays here.
