Yep. I'm hoping everyone's feet are okay. This snap should last shorter than the week from hell though hopefullyBrrrrr

Don't think I've ever seen it
Attached some ropes to that and have them pull
The last time I sold eggs was ten years ago. I'm considering it this year as I want to get some of the genetics out there.Just curious do you ever/ will you ever ship eggs?
If you ever get into showing, fawn color is easier to get right.Right now she just has fawn and penciled. So I'm debating if I want to get both colors and then try to figure out something housing wise so that I don't get intermixed colors when I hatch or if I just want to stick with one color…
-11Who wants to guess how cold it is here right now?
Wow sounds like you're really set up for a good yearYes! I'll have a minimum of 20 single paired pens for starters. I'll do an additional several quads of pen matings and go from there.
I'm doing more specialized pairings this year in that I'll be doing same color to same color more. I had been doing some black based standard whites to blacks in order to get better blacks. The white standards are really nice already. Some of the pairs will be allowed to hatch a second brood if they want to, which is usually all of them. I have several hens that are acting broody already, but with the freezing temperatures the eggs freeze and therefore won't hatch. Plus, I'm taking the eggs until more suitable weather for hatching.
