Everyone thinks this pic is cute. I've had Billy here since he was a day old and he is just a little over a year. This is my spoiled little baby.

Also took him and Laila in to the vet. Laila is my fainter doe that had some hair loss. Well Billy checked out fine. Laila has a small case of lice and the vet thinks maybe some allergies. So they both got Ivermectin shots. And I was told that Bills is a lit bit chubby.

its funny because the vet was trying to tip toe around it. She didn't want to come out and say it that he was fat. I was all like no its ok. I know hes a fatty. I know he is a chub. Lol So he's just really well fed!

I figure I would rather him be a little chubby than starving. Anyways the diet is starting. He is not happy about it. He loves his grain/pellets and well the vet said he could be completely off that feed and stick to hay and pasture especially during the summer. These two are my first goats and I'm learning as I go. So when a vet tells you that you are doing a great job with them its awesome to hear. She said their hooves look good. Their body conditions (aside from a little extra on Billy) are good. Do you ever sit and think of how much you learn with/from your animals? It makes me kind of proud that I have accomplished so much on my own. Learning as I go.

Yes, I was just thinking about that the other day. I don't watch much TV. I like watching my animals. The way they interact with each other and I love watching the young ones experience new things. They have a lot to "tell" us, if we learn to listen.​

I like watching my guineas. They are such nerds! Its funny how they chase each other. There will be like a line of 6 chasing one then the 2nd bird in the line accidently runs over the 1st bird and it becomes the chased. Repeat Repeat and then oh hey look what I found here to eat. They all stop to eat then oh what do ya know off we go chasing each other again. lol
